I
have a photographer…what’s the point of having a video?
A
good photographer is very important – you want to have great pictures of your
day to display in your home or in an album.
But what about reliving the emotion
of your day in both action and sound? Neither of these can be captured by a
Photo. Without video, you have no memory of your vows, no memory of the
laughter and tears.
Some Video-photographers are so obtrusive – I don’t want someone shoving a
microphone in people’s faces!
A good Video-photographer is one that the guests don’t even remember seeing.
At Frost Video Productions, we believe in quiet, unobtrusive documentation of
your day.

Isn’t
Video-photographer
expensive?
The best way to
understand the cost of
video-photographer is to
compare it to photography. A photographer may spend a total of 8-10 hours on your wedding
day in actual photography.
A Good
Video-photographer will
spend as many( up to 8 hrs ) documenting your day in video. Then, in addition to that he
will spend perhaps 30 to 40 hours in the editing process – setting your video
to music, editing in and cutting out scenes to make it all flow smoothly. At
Frost Video Productions, we
believe in perfection. We work until the finished product is a work of art.
a
video-photographer,
hour-per-hour, is generally less expensive than photography.
What should I look for
in a
Video-photographer?
Look first for experience, (28 years in my case). We believe that a “good shoulder” and an “eye for
beauty” are key in obtaining great video footage. Next, look for someone who
works with state-of-the-art equipment. As our generation moves into the DVD
world, so should your
video-photographer.
Finally, look for someone who has an artistic eye and attention to detail to
produce a video that is aesthetically pleasing and fun to watch!
